About Us

The Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc. (RCCGC) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering survivors, preventing violence, and promoting justice and healing. We serve individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking through comprehensive services including crisis intervention, legal and medical accompaniment, prevention education, case management, and community advocacy.

RCCGC offers a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling referrals, and support navigating legal processes. Our prevention education team provides free, age-appropriate presentations in schools, workplaces, and community settings, raising awareness and promoting safe, healthy relationships.

We believe everyone deserves to live a life free from violence. RCCGC is dedicated to meeting survivors where they are, helping them rebuild, and strengthening the community through outreach, support, and education. Join us in creating a safer Galveston County.
