The Dickinson Music Enrichment Center (TDMEC) provides the only free after-school year-round music program in Texas for underserved children starting at age 9. Several major studies show that earlier exposure to music is beneficial for children during their education. TDMEC strives to remove the costs of lessons, instruments, and supplies for children wishing to have early music lessons.
